11. Quentin Tarantino

As both writer and director of 2009's Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino has been a permanent fixture in the 2010 awards season. He won a Critics' Choice Award for Best Original Screenplay, but he hasn't received any big honors for directing just yet.
